Title: Confessions of a Millennial Bathgirl
Description: Unique egg tempera painting in chartreuse and pink. This is for those burnt out by Tuesday. Or those who dance between self-care and self-destruction. Inspiration initially started because I kept seeing helicopters flying in threes. This reminded me of a section of Mrs Dalloway where a plane flies overhead in post-WWI London, unnerving the crowd below: “The sound of an aeroplane bored ominously into the ears of the crowd.” (The binary is this quote.) It ends up being an advert. It’s a strange feeling, isn’t it? Carrying on with daily routines as everything feels in crisis.
Dimensions: 24″ x 24″
